Mission – Israel
The purpose of the Mission in Israel is to build a broad cooperation with Israel, and support certain projects across the country and among the Jewish diaspora. From April through September 2021, we are collecting funds for City of Life in Sderot, a Christian fellowship which offers regular help to the people of Sderot, providing them with material and social support.

The scope of activities of the fellowship is very broad, and includes helping the victims of the Holocaust, rebuilding and restoring houses damaged by missiles, food distribution to the elderly and families in need, supporting immigrants, arranging recreational excursions and preparing seasonal holiday packages for poor families and their children.

Dina and Michael Beener are Jewish immigrants from the former USSR. They pastor a Messianic fellowship City of Life in Sderot, Israel. They have two sons (8 and 9 years old). For many years they have devoted themselves to preach the gospel and provide social help to people in Sderot.
The City of Life Fellowship was established in 2000 by a group of Jewish Messianic students. One year later, the Gaza Strip started launching missiles at Sderot, and the shelling has continued every day. The Arabs from the Gaza Strip boasted themselves that they would turn it into a city of death. And that is why the Messianic students called their fellowship the City of Life – to counter the curse of the Hamas terrorists.
