Scriptural foundation: Acts 16:6–35 (NKJV)
1. God Is Turning His Eyes Toward Europe in 2026
"Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia… And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man from Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us” (Acts 16:6, 9, NKJV).
Europe lies deep within God’s heart, and His gaze rests upon the entire continent. For this reason, it is crucial to discern spiritually what God is doing in this season. The apostle Paul was led by God toward Asia, yet God stopped him on that journey and redirected him to Europe. In 2026, God will be redirecting people - including ministers - as well as resources toward Europe. Europe is becoming a place of renewed divine activity.
2. The Church in Europe Must Confront Spiritual Authority in 2026
"Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, 'These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation'. And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, 'I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.' And he came out that very hour" (Acts 16:16-18, NKJV).
There is a stage of prophetic vision, and there is a stage of daily spiritual labour. Paul was harassed by a woman with a spirit of divination. This account reveals that a spiritual force has been - and still is - operating in Europe, intending to cut believers off from God’s life and anointing. This spirit seeks to disconnect people from prayer, worship, the Word, and God’s calling. It attacks the apostolic order and the finances of believers. The Church and its believers in Europe must learn how to operate in the realm of the Spirit. This realm is not reserved only for pastors or ministry gifts. Christians cannot be guided solely by what they see or feel, nor attempt to explain away or rationalise evil. Just as Paul eventually rebuked the spirit of divination, so the Church in this season must confront the spiritual authority that seeks to oppress it.
3. The Church Moves from the Periphery to the Centre in 2026
"But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities" (Acts 16:19-20, NKJV).
Spiritual confrontation immediately brought the Church from the margins into the centre of public life. The apostles were taken into the marketplace and brought before the magistrates. Previously, Paul had been meeting by the river or in the homes of believers. The ability to move in the realm of the Spirit opens the gates of the city to the Church. This passage also illustrates how Europe responds when the power of God is revealed.
4. A Time of Shaking and Breaking Prisons in 2026
"Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains were loosed" (Acts 16:24-26, NKJV).
Though bound in chains, Paul and Silas remained in deep prayer and worship. They lifted their voices to God and provoked a divine response. Spiritual authority may strip you of outward freedom, but your spirit remains free. The Church in Europe may appear oppressed, as if locked in an inner prison, yet the adversary does not understand that when you are truly free, nothing can silence your voice or stop you from singing a song of freedom.
The Church cannot afford to remain silent. It must release God’s power through breakthrough, victorious, persistent prayer. Only such prayer is the key to deliverance from spiritual oppression and imprisonment. Neither attractive church social media nor “clickbait” sermons can replace it. Only a Church that understands the realm of the Spirit, prayer, and worship can become the answer - bringing freedom to enslaved people and cities, just as Jesus did during His earthly ministry.
5. A New Move of God in Europe in 2026
"Then the jailer brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” They spoke the Word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. At that same hour of the night, he took them and washed their wounds, and immediately he and all his family were baptised. When he brought them into his house, he set food before them, and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household. When it was day, the magistrates sent the officers, saying, “Let those men go.” The jailer reported these words to Paul, saying, “The magistrates have sent to let you go. Now depart and go in peace.” But Paul replied, “They have beaten us publicly, uncondemned, men who are Romans, and have thrown us into prison. Do they now secretly let us go? No! Let them come themselves and bring us out.” The officers told the magistrates what Paul had said, and when they heard that they were Romans, they were afraid. They came, apologised to Paul and Silas, and after releasing them, asked them to leave the city. After leaving the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they saw the believers, encouraged them, and then departed" (Acts 16:30-40, NKJV).
This is a time of a new move of God in Europe - different from what we have known before. The Church of Jesus Christ will step out from the margins into wide open spaces, from struggle into a place of breakthrough. The Church will experience favour, open doors, recognition, and respect.
This is a year of new possibilities and divine opportunities. Prepare yourself for a new move of God!
If you remain in deep prayer and worship, you will release the frequency of Heaven and provoke God’s response. Prayer and worship tear down every prison. This year, God will shake the foundations of prisons and lead people to freedom.
The jailer fell at the feet of Paul and Silas because of God’s power. What has oppressed, enslaved, and tormented people will bow its knees.
When the shaking comes, God opens new opportunities and new doors for proclaiming the Word and the Gospel. Both the Church and individuals will carry “words that give life” into entirely new places. Doors that were once closed will be thrown wide open.
Blessing, honour, and respect will come upon those who preach the Gospel and bring deliverance to others.
In 2026, God will visit and save entire households.
The Church will press into cities and homes.
Social recognition and respect will grow toward the Church and believers.
God is granting grace to the Church to strengthen and encourage believers in this season.
