The church like a city set on a mountain
In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (Isaiah 2:2 NIV)
Our vision is to build a church that, like a city set on a mountain, shines bright and full of light. Through the power of God, the church can exude the life, joy and victory of the Risen Jesus Christ.
The church is also a place for the preaching of God's Word, which has real power to change people's lives.
This way God reshapes their character, guides them, helps them reach their full potential and develop their endowments, talents and abilities.
The church we are building is a place where everyone can draw on God's power in the most practical and real way, addressing all aspects of their lives, using it to solve life's issues and problems.
A victorious church - like the biblical “city on a mountain” - effectively blesses people, giving them the ability and equipment to live victoriously every day, so that they themselves become a light for others.
We believe that such a church will truly bring the message of God's peace to people from all walks of life, thus making an impact on societies and nations.
